All skill levels welcome. It’s a moderate-to-strenuous pedal but every Railbike has an electric-assist feature for smooth help on climbs, or an easy breather whenever you like.

Cruise through the countryside on electric-assisted Railbikes, where the journey is easy, the views are beautiful, and adventure is always just around the bend.
Then keep the adventure going with a visit to Elkhorn Station.

Where do I check in for my River Fox Railbike ride?
Check in for your River Fox Railbike ride at the ticket booth located near Elkhorn Station, at 18095 County Road 117, West Sacramento, CA 95691. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure to ensure a smooth boarding process. There will be no refunds for missed rides.
Sunrise Railbike guests are encouraged to arrive 40 minutes prior to departure to enjoy their included breakfast before departing.
Is there an age requirement to ride the River Fox Railbikes?
The minimum age requirement for seated passengers on the River Fox Railbikes is 3 years old – no lap seating allowed. All children under the age of three must be in a front-facing carrier. Single riders must be at least 16 years old to operate the motor-assisted vehicle.
How can I find my River Fox Railbike ticket?
The River Fox operates without physical tickets. Upon arrival at the station at 18095 County Road 117, West Sacramento, CA, provide the ticket booth attendant with the name on your reservation to check in.
All passengers must complete the River Fox Railbike liability and risk agreement, which can be found in your confirmation email, before receiving boarding passes. We recommend filling out these waivers digitally to avoid delays. You can forward the link in your confirmation email to other members of your party.
Are River Fox Railbike tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but if the River Fox cancels your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will book you for another date.
The River Fox Railbikes operate rain or shine, but rides may be canceled if winds exceed 30 MPH, there are close lightning strikes, or heavy rain affects the track. We monitor weather conditions and will contact you if a cancellation is necessary.

How long will I be pedaling on the River Fox Railbikes?
Each River Fox Railbike is equipped with an easy to use electric-assist motor that you can use as needed. Instructions on operating the motor and other features will be provided before your ride.
If you choose to pedal your River Fox Railbike, you will do so for about 30 minutes in each direction, totaling approximately 60 minutes.
Can pets ride the River Fox Railbikes?
Pets are not allowed on the River Fox Railbikes.
