Giving Back Down the Line 

At River Fox Train, community is our locomotive. Each year we support local schools, nonprofits, and civic organizations with donated experiences for their raffles, silent auctions, and fundraising events. 

Who We Support

We prioritize nonprofit organizations, schools, PTAs/PTOs, and community groups located within 60-75 miles of our West Sacramento station. This keeps our support focused on the communities our guests call home. Outside our service area? Ask us about our sister railroad, which may be able to support your event.

What We Donate

Approved requests typically receive an experience certificate for one of our excursions, perfect for a raffle prize or silent auction item. Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

How to Request a Donation

Please submit your request at 4-6 weeks before your event or donation deadline via the form on this page. Include your donation submission deadline and how the donation will be used (raffle, silent auction, live action, etc.) in the description of your event.

Submitting a request doesn’t guarantee a donation, but we’ll respond to every organization once our review is complete. Requests with complete event details are reviewed fastest.
